In addition to the pattern pieces found in the downloadable pdf, you will need:
3 rectangles:
- one 90 cm by 4 cm (35.5 inches by 1.5 inches) for the strap
(I ran out of faux leather and had to use 2 strips to make up the 90 cm strap - see picture below on the left)
- one 55 cm by 4 cm (21.5 inches by 1.5 inches) for the thickness/sides of the bag
(shown on the right of the picture below)
- optional: one rectangle 9 cm by 5 cm (3.5 inches by 2 inches) -
this one will be sewn to the back of the bag, so a belt can be threaded through it.

Sew a piece of velcro to the front and back pieces.

Back of the bag - if you want to be able to fix the bag to a belt.

Sew side to front piece, right sides together. Cut off excess from the side strip.

Sew back piece to the side piece, right sides together.

Make strap, folding over the edges on both sides

Sew strap to the bag.

Fold the edge of the front piece down and topstitch, also fixing in place the strap.
